“Fabric Workshop”
Ji Wenyu & Zhu Weibing’s solo exhibition “Stranger” public project
14:00 – 16:00
January 28, 2023 (Sunday)
Location: 2nd floor, AAEF Art Center

In this workshop, exhibition artist Weibing Zhu guides parents and children through creating a Chinese dragon using materials like felt and copper wire, employing techniques such as “cutting, splicing, and shaping.” This activity is designed to enhance children’s observation, deconstruction, coordination, and fine motor movement skills. This workshop aims to foster closer interactions with “fabric” materials and deepen understanding of the cultural significance embedded in “handmade fabric art.” This experience will connect individuals to everyday life and trigger more profound, empathetic memories.
